Hi, I'm Special-Niewbie - or if you prefer, you can call me Cris. This is my project: HandleOS.
In the beginning HandleOS was born from my simple idea: having a script to hide the Windows Desktop PC at a time when handheld devices were not yet a recognized market. And then looking for a custom Windows ISO that was fully transparent, clear, and reversible turned out to be quite difficult. I didn't trust the modified ISOs circulating online, as it was impossible to know who was behind them or what changes were actually made.
You might find yourself in the same situation I was in: the lack of transparency motivated me to build HandleOS as a project of passion and trust. I wanted to create a small community of enthusiasts where we could openly discuss changes, optimizations, and reversibility of the system.
I put all my knowledge at the disposal of anyone who wants not only a custom ISO, but also to develop custom software that meets their needs, home-made and designed for the community.
I understand skepticism: I've been there too. But as an autodidact, constantly learning different languages and technologies, I realized that a minimum of trust in projects is always necessary, otherwise we should turn off the internet completely.
I'm also close to those who start learning any coding language and cannot find humble developers around. My playful name is meant to go against the arrogance that often surrounds this field:
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
The philosophy behind HandleOS is simple: optimize Windows to its maximum potential without
ever crossing the line that would make it unstable or unusable. This involves intensive testing with every
change that is made and therefore a lot of work.
Yes, we could make HandleOS even lighter, removing more components-but at what cost? To have less giga on the
final ISO?!
That would result in a half-broken system, preventing updates or breaking essential development tools, modern
games, and applications relying on specific Windows technologies.
That's why HandleOS is built to be fully reversible and always functional, able to be
upgraded like normal Windows.
It is an optimized, lightweight, secure, and
stable experience that works like stock Windows - just as lightweight as a custom ISO can allow.
So a valid Microsoft license on your device is required. I condemn any illegal action. Users must first download a clean Windows 11 ISO from the official Microsoft website, processed through the HandleOS ISO Creator to customize their ISO and create a HandleOS-themed optimized installation.
I love technology and machine languages. HandleOS is one of my passions, but also an invitation to collaborate with anyone of any experience level (here nobody will judge you): a transparent project, built with and for the community. If you are here, you are already part of the HandleOS family.
To support the project, I also need your help: donations are mainly used to cover development costs, server costs, and to ensure HandleOS can grow and remain available to everyone. I kindly invite you to consider making a small donation: together, with each contribution, we can carry this project forward. I cannot do it alone, but with the community, we can.
Download HandleOS today and experience the difference.
